paine

GunstarVixen was the Paine in our YRP group at the May Expo, and I promised both her and Caylithe I would take some photos of their costumes, in return for some of mine. No problems there. Posing wasn't too hard as far as this character goes. She doesn't smile, so you don't have to strain your face to get a grin, and all the poses are fairly large and in your face as she's a mage and therefore summoning a spell at some point. Plus there were a few poses fromthe guide book we were able to use for referance. The ones minus the hat were GunstarVixen's idea, and turned out pretty well I think, trying to show a more relaxed side to Paine after fighting; or just resting for a moment. Editting was nice and easier, but bringing out colour in the background and in the actual costume itself.

The hardest one to edit was the back lit one. A request of GunstarVixens's as the sun was right behind her. I think the photo itself came out pretty well, but editting it to try an centralise the glow was a tricky one. But with some curve editting it came together fairly well.
