full metal alchemist

Another shoot with Tab and this time with Xae as Ed and Al from Full Metal Alchemist.

Now, maybe this will surprise everyone but I haven't ever watched or read Full Metal Alchemist. I also have no deserve to (the fandom kind of ruined the entire idea for me). So this was another shoot I kind of went into a little bit blind. However, I had seen progress shots of Tab's Ed costume; and also had seen Xae's Al costume earlier in the year at May expo where it blew everyone away; and I was really quite excited to be photographing it. I may not have known anything about the series; but I loved that costume. It was so impressive!

True to form, Tab had some ideas to suggest, and some specific pictures he wanted to get; so i was happy to oblige. The rest of the time we hit ideas off of each other which worked really well and we were able to get some nice shoots of Ed lecturing Al; some nice costume shots. My personal favourite from the lot is the portrait photo of them against the tree. I have no idea why - but I just really like it! ^^U
