dead fantasy

I never seem to learn with groups. Sigh. Ah well - to be honest, this group wasn't bad. Three of the cosplayers I knew, and the other two had their heads on straight enough for me to be abe to get them to do what I told them to when I told them to do it. So it wasn't a reprise of the Street Fighter group - which was what I was worried about.

Having only seen Dead Fantasy a few times, I was more focused on getting individual shots primarily, as I usually am. So I kept use of a blank background so it wouldn't interfer with the character and shot. I had each person do a few different poses in front of the wall in turn, and then we scarpered off to the bridge for pairs and group shots.

Because we were on a public run way and people kept coming and going, the shoot had to stop and start a lot. I pretty much let the cospplayers have full run of poses etc. and because another photographer, Nert had tagged along, and he's a big Dead Fantasy fanboy, a lot of poses came together really easily. Sadly, I had to run off before we could get any large, in motion shots because I had to get to the panel I was running. I'm hoping, if another Dead Fantasy group comes together, I can do some more in action poses using the iron platforms and other levels that the Excel centre has to offer.
